Crabtree & Evelyn's successful collaboration with India Hicks proves yet again to be a winning formula, as the India Hicks Island Night Eau de Toilette has just won the coveted Best New Celebrity Fragrance award at the CEW UK Beauty Awards 2010.
The Movies have the Oscars and the beauty industry has its very own ‘red carpet' event - the CEW UK Beauty Insiders Awards. The event celebrates the latest and greatest beauty products on the market, voted for by experienced and knowledgeable beauty industry insiders. So to receive an award from such a prestigious panel is an amazing honour. It really is the crème de la crème of beauty awards. This latest award completes a perfect CEW Beauty Awards set for the Crabtree & Evelyn, with India Hicks's first collaboration Island Living Spider Lily Eau de Toilette, having won the Best New Female Fragrance Award in 2008.
At the beginning of 2006 India Hicks became a Creative Partner with Crabtree and Evelyn, and together they have launched two extremely successful collections of bath and beauty products ‘Island Living' and ‘Island Night'.
"My fragrances have to be timeless, understated luxury", explains India. "They shouldn't wear me, I have to wear them. They need to feel like a second skin, to be ethereal, not too heavy or stifling. I am so delighted that Island Night has won the CEW Best New Celebrity Fragrance award in the UK."
Island Night holds the essence of a moonlit evening in the islands - captured in a floral heart of purple and white orchids, night-blooming jasmine, green island palms and orange blossom nectar, entwined with a woody musk accord.
