Austin Reed open in The Exchange

Nottingham Forest Manager Billy Davies, his deputy David Kelly and players Lee Camp and Paul Anderson opened the new Austin Reed, CC and Viyella store in The Exchange, Nottingham today. Dressed in Austin Reed and with shoes from Church's and Cheaney, they cut the ribbon shaped in the St George's Cross, letting the eagerly awaiting customers inside. Celebrations throughout the day included celebrity appearances from Sam Pinkham and Amy Voce from Heart Breakfast. The new store is especially exciting for Viyella, as the brand originated in Nottinghamshire in 1784. Today, the new-look store, spanning two floors of fashion, combines the best aspects of British design with formal tailoring and contemporary weekend looks for both men and women.

CC's Spring/Summer collection unites influences from the French Riviera, the deep tropics and the city of Barcelona, offering a capsule wardrobe full of effortless glamour. In an exuberant kaleidoscope of colour and with updated silhouettes, this collection mirrors the mood of the moment.

Viyella's new range draws on its illustrious history to create timeless classics for men and women, with quintessentially English designs given a thoroughly modern twist. A fusion of superior fabrics and distinguished, wearable shapes offers the perfect solution for summer dressing.
